Red River Youth Rugby is excited to continue our partnership with the West Fargo Park District to offer a Mini’s: K-2nd Grade and Mighties: 3rd-6th Grade Youth Rugby League. In four rugby sessions, participants will take part in a short warm-up, a drill/activity and finish with a tag rugby game. Players do not need to know how to play tag rugby to participate. The game will be learned over the course of the four sessions and culminate in a Tag Rugby Tournament Finale.  Register according to grade and school attending for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Season Length: October 7-28 (Monday Nights)

Equipment Needed:

• Athletic clothing (shorts and shirt)
• Athletic shoes (tennis shoes, soccer cleats and/or football cleats are preferred but not necessary - no baseball/softball or metal cleats)

Registration Opens August 1

4th-5th Grade Non-Competitive Tackle Option

This option is for girls and boys who want to practice tackle rugby with the middle school coed team (March-June) but may not be ready for full competition. It’s a great way for players to ease into tackle rugby and gain the skills needed for the next level. The 2025 middle school rugby season begins in March. Players who want to register for this option should register with our middle school team under the "4th-5th Grade Non-Competitive Tackle Option."
